The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Lead to support the Back to Basics program. The incumbent will support the design and implementation of Supply Chain Planning processes and interfaces for the global ERP program, which includes the development of a common global design and deployment through project rollouts. Responsible for SAP and non-SAP technology enablement capabilities in the planning domains of the B2B program.
Responsibilities of this position include: Collaborate with partners to determine scope, goals and objectives. Lead the project team in designing a “to be” process. Demonstrate the impact of procedures and their effect on the organization. Critically review and recommend changes to processes in part or in their entirety. Develop use cases. Determine data flows and sources; identify data conversion or migration needed to support goals and uses in a process. Analyze global, cross sector business requirements to understand fit within global process and technology template. Propose new and leverage existing J&J system solutions to build the global design. Create and manage the implementation of changes into the global template. Lead authoring of required project documentation and validation artifacts. Create an impact analysis and testing plans to mitigate risk when implementing the solution. Create functional design documents, solution summaries. Create test scripts. Execute unit and system testing to eliminate defects. As the J&J steward, review functional designs created by external consultants and vendors. Adhere to J&J standards (SDLC, CSV, GxP and SOX).
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited institution is required, preferably with focus in IT, Technical Operations or Operations Systems. A minimum of 4-6 years SAP SCM experience is required. At least 3 years of hands-on configuration experience in SNP (Supply Network Planning) is required. Additional hands-on configuration experience in at least one of the following areas is required; SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) and/or Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS). Experience being a team lead or member within at least 2 SAP implementations is required. 1 – 3 years SAP ECC experience in Production Planning (PP) and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) is required. Experience in conceptual redesign of business processes and IT solutions is required. Practical hands-on configuration experience within the SAP tools is required. Experience implementing or supporting cross region or cross sector integrated platforms is required. Experience in project management is required, preferably in multi-project and multi-cultural setup. Change management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience is required. Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment is required. Excellent communication skills are required. Hands-on experience in SAP Solution Manager and HPQC is preferred. SOX environment experience is preferred. Understanding of SAP Authorizations is required.
