Description
OVERVIEW:
The Selling Effectiveness Specialist is responsible for the payout of all specialists monetary incentives. Additionally, supports the stores by researching, resolving and paying out all incentive queries. The Selling Effectiveness Specialist is the liaison between SE, stores and Corporate Compensation. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Integral store contact for all vendor and My Macys incentive payouts
- Timely resolution of incentive queries in order to maintain a high level of associate relations in stores
- Review and verify accuracy of payout documents from MST
- Create timely and accurate payout file for Compensation
- Partner with store and Selling Support Services to ensure accuracy of job codes, contract #s, mapping and REQ information
- Create monthly vendor Charge Back table for Asset Recovery for financial reimbursement
- Liaison between SE, stores and Corporate Compensation
- Create and maintain reporting of incentive payouts by Program
- Coordinate Seasonal MyMacys Incentive queries with HR
- Fulfill specialist supply requests from stores
- Team player
- Effectively prioritize workload
- Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- A minimum of six months related experience and/or Training
Language Skills
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mathematical Skills
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Reasoning Ability
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands
- This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Other Skills
- Strong leadership profile, good time management and excellent negotiation skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mainframe and Standard Reports
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and a thirst for learning
- Must enjoy interacting with people; Selling Support Services/HR as well as vendors
- Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team
- Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information with integrity

- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs
