Job: Email Deliverability Team Manager

LOCATION: New York, NY 10001



With the increase in advanced ISP filtering, numerous authentication proposals and the widespread distribution of user-level spam filtering controls --- email deliverability tools and performance monitoring capabilities have become a necessity. Now, more than ever, it is imperative that email marketers accurately assess the delivery and performance of each email campaign.

To effectively address the growing deliverability dilemma and maximize the effectiveness of every email deployed, the Deliverability Manager will oversee a team dedicated to monitor, analyze key factors to assure the best deliverability to our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of Deliverability Analysts

• Responsible for running and mentoring the team to maximum efficiency

• Set and manage personal and team performance targets

• Collaborate with senior business managers on technology, process, solutions to support projects and strategic initiatives.

• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and all phases of the entire software lifecycle.

• Understand issues surrounding monitoring inbound data systems for bounce and complaint reporting variances.

• Manage the process for CheetahMail email senders to be in compliance with ISP AUP’s and applicable first and third party whitelist services.
 
• Lead interface directly with technology personnel on necessary systems changes to comply with ISP, whitelist or accreditation AUP’s.
 
• Maintain awareness and analysis of spam filter trends to guide organizational adoption and compliance.

• Act as a point of escalation for delivery problems with clients, operations, inbound support and engineering.

• Recommend and lead service/system enhancement projects





• 7+ years of experience of technical team management
• Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with an aptitude to manage own and team’s time.
• Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to providing world class customer service
