Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an IT Operations Lead, Workday. This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ.

To advance the company’s talent management strategy, Johnson & Johnson has embarked on an enterprise program (Workday Program) that deploys capabilities such as Core HR, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Organizational Management, and Reporting and Analytics. The successful deployment of these HR capabilities will result in increased productivity, better employee engagement, more accurate and timely information for business decisions, and enablement of future talent initiatives.

The Workday Program is recruiting for an IT Operations Lead leading the operations of Core/Vitals HR functionalities focusing on the area of IT Operations. This position is located in New Brunswick.

Specific responsibilities will include the following:

IT Lead for Operations for Workday country rollouts for Core and Vitals. Work with other workstream leads, external specialist groups, local HR operations, business-based HR (generalists), and other stakeholders for establishing and defining IT operation processes and procedures that will meet the global, regional and local business needs. Develop and implement operation framework and capability for Workday solutions and other J&J systems including interface troubleshooting, error tracking and resolution. Have background in web application development and maintenance. Have experience in managing vendor activities for integration testing and error resolution. Work with the Workday HR Ops Team on application maintenance, support and upgrades. Work with the team on streamlining and process improvements on existing integrations and reporting capabilities. Co-ordinate all compliance based activities such as SOX testing, data privacy and audit. Support new Workday release regression testing. Monitor system operational metrics and SLAs including system and performance monitoring. Establish IT operational framework for Workday support including change, issue, incident and release management. Responsible for IT process improvement across vendors, HR services and J&J HR IT.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience in application delivery and life cycle management is required. Strong experience in IT operation activities is required. Experience in interface and other IT activities as part of system operations activities is required. Package software implementation experience is required. Previous experience of operations of global projects within utilizing the IT Methodology & SDLC is required. A minimum of 3 years of project management experience is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of strong process focus and experience is required; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required. Experience of facilitating and capturing business requirements is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business partners is required. Prior experience in a global project environment collaborating with regional teams is required. Proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to results required; strong interpersonal and negotiating skills required

Knowledge of HCM systems or Workday is preferred. Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners, in a highly matrix environment across the globe is preferred.
