OVERVIEW
This is a unique opportunity to become a core member of a team growing a cutting-edge mobile technology company from early-stage to global scale. Working closely with the CFO, you will be responsible for operational finance processes such as accounting administration, financial modeling, investor presentations, shareholder communications and coordinating all teams within the company. We seek a meticulous, detail-oriented junior professional who will take responsibility for creating and maintaining systematic processes and routines for managing a fast-paced environment.

Thinaire Transmedia is an RF (Radio Frequency) mobile engagement company. Our platform, the Thinaire Mobile Marketing Cloud, enables marketers to create innovative mobile marketing campaigns that bridge the physical and digital worlds using RF technologies such as NFC (Near Field Communications) and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
The RF mobile market is poised to take off in 2014. Founded in 2011, Thinaire Transmedia has become the leader in RF mobile engagement. Our partners and clients include leading companies such as News Corporation, Verizon, Unilever, Kraft, adidas, Proctor & Gamble.
Currently, we are launching a strategic plan to meet growth in demand for our platform. We seek a take-charge, well-organized, detail-oriented associate to work with our CFO to manage all financial and administrative aspects of the company as we scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance & Administration Associate’s principal responsibility is to administer the day-to-day details integral to managing all aspects of a high-growth business.
- Execute day-to-day finance processes, including maintaining accounting processes; ensuring accuracy of financial data; managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources and supporting fundraising activities
- Develop, review, implement, and document accounting and internal control policies and procedures to support all aspects of high growth operations.
- Build and manage historical and projected financial statements, cash flow projections, revenue models, shareholder register, cap tables, and other financial models to venture capital standards
- Prepare internal budget analyses
- Provide operational finance customer service by researching and resolving inquiries, resolving payment discrepancies, and proactively managing Thinaire Transmedia’s client and vendor relationships
- Prepare presentation decks to investors and shareholder communications
- Establish routines to coordinate Finance with the Business Development, Product and Development teams
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited school. (At least 2 classes in introductory accounting required)
- 1-2 years (or 2+ internships) in corporate finance, accounting, law, consulting or a high-growth company
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong administration skills with an eye for analyzing processes and suggesting improvements
- Excellence in written communication, judgment and discretion with confidential information
- Preferred, but not required: QuickBooks experience

COMPENSATION
The Finance and Administration Associate is a full-time, salaried position with options, benefits and a vacation package.
