Supporting Montefiore's Care Management System: CMO, Montefiore Care Management, provides technologically advanced services and interventions to help federal and state healthcare program and commercial insurer members, in the Bronx and Westchester, achieve optimal health.









The Director oversees departmental operations, ensuring that teams are working effectively to Oversees the management of the operational and fiscal activities of his/her department and establishes policies, standards, and practices as needed. 
Oversees and provides guidance for his/her direct reports ensuring their direction and goals are in concert with the mutual goals and objectives across the organization.
In addition, the Director establishes and communicates the short and long-term objectives of the department to the executive team, peers, and team members.
Ensures the delivery of outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.
  • Technical support of the CMO including Care Management, Claims, Eligibility, Credentialing Applications and the Contact Center
  • CMO Application Interfaces – between CMO applications, Contact Center Applications and with external business partner systems.
  • Computer Server Infrastructure to support the Contact Center and CMO Applications
  • Develop, negotiate and manage budgets with the CMO.  Monthly CMO billing for EHIT services.
  • Authorization and approval of hiring and purchasing decisions.
  • Liaison with CMO management and MMC customer management
  • Coordination with other Emerging Health departments regarding CMO matters.
  • Management of Associate Directors
  • Performance of Contact Center technology and of the CMO technology platform

    Management and Technical Skills Required Required
  • Managing multiple departments
  • Experience with providers, administrators and insurers in the Health Care field – inpatient and outpatient.
  • Experience in process and change management
  • Experience in application development and in production/operations support
  • Management of technical resources (over 100 servers, multiple server technologies, voice and data technologies)
  • Experience in for-profit environments
  • Management of multi-million dollar budgets and projects.
  • Product and project management experience
  • Performance of Contact Center technology and of the CMO technology platform.
  • Track record of success
  • History of progressive responsibilities
  • Experience of reporting to executive management
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies, conditions and environments
  • Focus on end results
  • Strong Client management skills
  • Multiple industry experience
  • Understanding of Accountable Care and population management principles
  • Knowledge of Healthcare, Managed Care and HIPPA
  • MBA & Technical Degree Strongly preferred
