JOB SUMMARY:
Individual works with VP/Chief Development Officer to help design and implement acomprehensive fund raising program to bring in funds from individuals, corporations and foundations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Take lead on the TBHC Employee and Physician Annual Fund: create all print and electronic campaign materials, solicit individuals, and acknowledge and steward all gifts.
· Identify, solicit and acknowledge gifts from individuals, corporations, government and foundations. Steward existing donors.
· Develop and write effective communications for all of the Foundation’sprograms includingproposals, newsletters, brochures, and pamphlets. Lead engagement communications via internal and external social media.
· Take lead on the Foundation’s Departmental Grant Program; publicizing opportunities, organizing and presenting the proposals to the Trustee Committee, communicating with recipients and ensuring that they receive allocated funding.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures related to gift acknowledgement, donor recognition, record keeping, communications and other related activities. Maintain effective collecting, recording, accounting, acknowledgement and follow-up on all private gifts
· Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Bachelor’s Degree
Ø 3 years progressive fund raising/customer relations/marketing or sales and promotions experience in team environment.
Ø Proven verbal and written communication skills and computer experience with Windows environment.
OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
