IMMEDIATE NEED !!...Client specializing in testing high voltage electrical substations, systems & relays is looking for several Relay Test Field Technicians & Relay Engineers with 3-25+ years of experience to work out of their Rochester, NY). You need experience working for a Utility, Relay Manufacturer or a similar high voltage electrical testing company. Excellent pay, benefits and OT!
Responsibilities for the Relay Technician
  • Your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, test, & repair protective relays on high voltage substations
  • You will travel in and arround the Rochester, NY region servicing customers, but will also need to support other regions depending on the work load
  • Client will provide company service truck and pay for expenses when you have to service clients out of the immediate area
Requirements for the Relay Technician
  • 3-25 years of hands on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays on high voltage substations
  • Calibrate & perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations
  • Experience installing, maintaining, testing, & repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment
  • Capable of trouble shooting distribution and transmission controls circuits
  • 75% Regional Travel
