Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer?
Do you thrive on designing new products and have an interest an/or experience in small plastic part design?
Our very established client is seeking to grow their team to meet the increasing demand for new products in their space.
Prior knowledge of Pro/Engineer with at least 5 years designing with Pro/E is preferred as well as some experience with top down design including skeleton modeling or master model design approach.
The ideal candidate will have an:
•Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or greater
•Excellent organizational skills
•Understanding of Bill of Materials development
•Excellent communication skills
•Understanding of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, sheet metal manufacturing, casting, etc.
•Familiar with material types: plastics, steels, nonferrous metals, etc.
•Design for Assembly
•Ability to do tolerance analysis
•Plastic part desig n experience
•SAP experience is a plus
