Provides trade support for a trading team. Proactively deals with trades processing issues
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Answers phone for the trading desk.
- Assists traders with orders and executes transactions as needed. Processes appropriate transactions and allocations.
- Responsible for trade capture, trade activity reporting and P&L and risk calculations.
- Advises traders, trade analysis staff and operations staff of any position adjustments and/or discrepancies.
- Reviews trade sheets and tickets. Maintains position records and compiles analysis/reports, as requested.
- Tracks and verifies trades, checking accuracy of daily processed trades vs. traders’ slate.
- Assists traders by disseminating research and market information. Collects or prepares information and briefing packages.
- Maintains and updates the firm’s databases.
- Adheres strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices; reports control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
- Supports the Company's Diversity programs.
