About the Job
A Prominent Company located in Somerset County, New Jersey has an excellent opportunity for a Collections Specialist with responsibilities as follows:
- Document and maintain accurate information on client accounts
- Handle all customer service and administrative issues
- Collaborate with various internal departments, vendors, sales force, and management to troubleshoot and resolve customer discrepancies
- High inbound and outbound calls on past due credit card payments
- Negotiate payment arrangements based on financial circumstances
- Play a major role in achieving monthly collection objectives
- Coordinate with customer service for inquiries and account resolution
- Account Reconciliation
- Deduction resolutions
- Analysis and resolution of variances
- A/R day’s outstanding analysis
- Daily cash applications
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
The total compensation range is from $35,000 to $40,000.
