About the Job
A Leading Retail Company located in Union County County, New Jersey is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Manage Financial Services departments; Merchandise Accounts Payable, and Sales Order Processing.
- Perform weekly check run and lead the monthly A/P Close process
- Develop A/P reports monitoring the quantity and dollar amounts of individual and department transaction
- Train and develop the staff
- Integrate all merchandise payables and Letter or Credit processes into the Accounts Payable
- Direct all accounts payable operations
- Train and develop the staff
- Verify the validity of non-recurring invoices, check requests, and expense reports
- Close Accounts Payable on a timely bases and process any transactions that are important such as voiding checks, vendor trial balance, aged A/P, accruals etc
Qualified applicants for this opportunity will possess
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The total compensation range for this opportunity is $58,000 to $72,000 with excellent benefits, bonus, and 401k with match.
