The Index Data Analyst provides quantitative and analytical support to the Index Investment Strategy team and will assist in all areas of group activity.
Index Investment Strategy seeks to enhance the visibility and credibility of the S&P DJI brand by drawing on S&P DJI data & research to produce written and oral collateral of interest to clients, prospects, conference organizers, and external media.

Responsibilities:
- Draw on S&P DJI data and research (across all asset classes) to produce statistical, analytical & editorial collateral of interest to clients, prospects, conference organizers, and external media (e.g. index dashboards, daily bluechip index factoids, etc.).
- Support Index Investment Strategy through analysis and maintenance of varied index data and databases
- Produce regular reports tracking adoption and revenue tracking of SPDJI indices
- Special research projects as requested.
Qualifications
Required:
- Three plus years of prior experience within an investment services related business, preferably in an analytical or research role.
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral.
- Strong analytic skills to produce and support research efforts. Must be fluent in manipulating spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong organizational skills are required in order to coordinate and maneuver the many different areas within S&P Dow Jones Indices to work towards executing the same goal.
