Immediate Long term contract opportunity for Sr. Java Developer with (Google Web Toolkit) with Direct Client in New York, NY

Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a long term contract assignment (10 Months) for Sr. Java Developer in New York, NY. This position works seven hours a day.

Pl. Note: GWT (Google Web Toolkit) is a must for this position.

Description:
Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a need for an experienced Senior Java Developer with Google Web Toolkit Knowledge to design, develop new applications and enhance existing applications.
The applications involved support client’s critical work in enforcing Maintenance Code and in affordable housing for New York City residents.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Java programming.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience using Eclipse.
• Minimum of 4 years working as a team leader.
• Minimum of 4 years working with the Oracle database environment.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Windows operating system.
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Business Analysis and Design.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Google Web Tools
• Good judgment, logical thinker and detail oriented.
• Ability to drive projects to completion.

The above skills and qualifications are necessary to perform the following tasks and services:
• Work closely under the direction of the Project Manager with stakeholders from client, including managers, line employees and IT staff.
• Responsible for implementing and enhancing java applications in line with business goals, objectives and technical requirements.
• Execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Modify existing programs to confirm to system changes or to make improvements in the existing program.
• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing changes and corrections.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Demonstrate understanding of software development life-cycle.
• Demonstrate understanding of n-tier architecture.
• Demonstrate understanding of SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Strong collaboration, relationship management, communication and written skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience writing functional and technical specifications, user and technical documentation.
