Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group of Companies develops and markets consumer healthcare, baby care, and beauty/skin care products that address the needs of consumers and health care professionals and incorporate the latest innovations. The Demand Planning Process Manager is a regionally aligned role responsible for demand planning processes across all franchises. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a strong understanding of demand planning process, the ability to work with multiple business partners and a deep knowledge of SAP Demand Planning.
The Demand Planning Process Manager will define and implement standard processes across the region in the discipline of demand planning. The Demand Planning Process Mgr will be the NA SME for the Global Planning Excellence (GPEx) organization, Identifying benchmark process for Demand Planning within J&J and Industry/CPG Best Practices.
This individual will be responsible for driving Reliability Capability 7.2 along with driving Demand Planning for future state. The incumbent will provide regional process improvements to support improved measures for Lag 3 MAPE/Bias, Lag 3 New Product MAPE and Affiliate MAPE. The Demand Planning Process Manager will ensure Demand Completeness over the 24 month horizon is embedded within the organization to deliver targets within range for business conditions. They will also lead Regional process improvements with cross functional partners to continue improvements within the S&OP process. This individual will facilitate Demand Planning Training of end users including SAP/APO and DP Communities of Practice.
The Demand Planning Process Manager will require strong leadership and change management skills. This position will partner frequently with cross functional partners in IT, Marketing, Customer Logistics, Project Management and Trade Customization to ensure processes are supporting and integrated within the business.
The Demand Planning Manager will report directly to the Director, Supply Chain Business Process, and work closely to ensure the Demand Planning process fits into the overall Supply Chain Business Process.
Qualifications
This candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. An MBA is preferred. This candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of general business experience and minimum of 3 years of Demand Planning experience. Experience with SAP-APO is highly preferred. Experience with strategic planning, sourcing, distribution, transportation, contract manufacturing and customer service is highly preferred. Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification is highly preferred. Experience with SAP modules such as ECC, BW, and Enterprise Portal is preferred.
The candidate will have a strong combination of supply chain planning and leadership skills. Leadership skills in the areas of influencing and communication are required. This candidate will be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a matrix environment. This individual must possess the ability to manage difficult issues and implement positive change. Negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority are required. The ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and change management is required.
This position will be based in Skillman, NJ. Additional travel, up to 20%, may be necessary based on business needs.
