Installation & Service Security Technician
Service Works, Inc. is a security integration company located in Monmouth County, NJ. We are offering an excellent opportunity for an Install and/or Service Technician with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Access Control/Closed Circuit Television (AC/CCTV) security integration industry. We service clients mostly in the NJ, NYC and eastern PA region, but have remote clients throughout the USA.
Duties:
- Capable of performing turnkey installations on Access Control and/or Closed Circuit Television integrated systems
- Conduct high level preventive maintenance inspections
- Able to troubleshoot, repair and program Access Control and CCTV systems
- Able to program new or troubleshoot existing IP solution based systems
- Interacting with customers to explain systems issues and provide training
- Able to work with multiple trades (subcontractors) while ensureing proper completion of projects
Requirements:
- 3 years experience installing and/or servicing card access control systems, closed circuit television systems, or advance electronics knowledge.
- Computer programming and networking skills required
- Understand relay logic and able to utilize a multi-meter
- Honeywell, AMAG, Salient, Axis, Software House knowledge: one is required, all is a plus
- Good communication/customer service skills
- Able to self manage & multi-task without being easily distracted in busy environments
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of tools and their uses
- Able to work on ladders, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Validate drivers license & good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
