About the Job
Our client, a leader in Broadcast Media, is seeking a Business Analyst to document and analyze business requirements and processes, and to translate these into functional requirements and test plans. As a Business Analyst you'llso serve as the liaison between the user community and technical developers, in addition to supporting Project Management. Long term, NYC contract... W2 or C2C ok but no 3rd Parties.
Responsibilities:
. Liaise with Business Users and Technology Group to improve CRM strategy and solution
. Documenting user requirements, business processes, functional specs, test plans, and use cases
. Problem solving for both business needs and application support
. Supporting Project Management efforts
. Provide analysis of business requirements through client interviews, workshops, or existing systems documentation or procedures
. Develop test schedules and testing plans, working with the Q/A Department to ensure testing is thorough and comprehensive
. Work closely with Development and QA teams in application support of current systems, including problem analysis and resolution
. Coordinate with users to perform user acceptance testing, including creating UAT test scripts
Required Skills:
. 2+ years of business & systems analysis experience, analyzing and documenting business requirements, needs, and processes
. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams
. Experience in the television industry and knowledge CRM systems. Any hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a big plus
. Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
. Understanding of the Ad Sales Vertical
. Experience with SQL queries in Oracle is desired
. Strong experience with MS Office 2010 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
. Excellent analytical, communications and organizational skills
